The High Road, Company
We have the simplest of philosophies:
To produce an Elegant Premium Bordeaux Style Red Blend at a competitive price.
Where possible, and within our strictest quality adherence, we produce the wine under High Road practices.
This includes our raw materials, production techniques, product, and service.
Our Philosophy
As an example of our High Road Practices:
Our grapes are sourced from the high slopes of the Golden Triangle in Stellenbosch, giving us a premium selection of grapes.
Stellenbosch is an area imbued with great karma and even better terroir, where soil, climate, gradient and gentle sea breezes merge to create some of the finest wines in South Africa.
100% French Oak Barrels are used.
When you have a product of our quality, and our reserved quantities – you are forced to be selective to as to whom you sell to. We endeavour to align ourselves to people and organisations that we believe also reflect our High Road Values. We want the drinkers of our wine to fully appreciate the High Road experience to the point that they become ambassadors of our wine. We target the corporate, retail and individual markets, but again, only in a very limited manner.
